I hear this from a lot of my male patients way too often, and it just makes no sense. You are so stiff you can’t do a yoga class? Ummm… if you are so stiff then you NEED to do yoga! I cannot stress this enough, the key to longevity is flexibility. Again, “the key to longevity is flexibility.”

I understand you guys feeling a little insecure to do yoga, feeling like it is too feminine and it would be too embarrassing. So instead they workout at the gym and lift weights. It is not all about muscle; in fact, increased flexibility will not only help you be stronger in the gym, you will be able to move faster, jump higher, avoid typical muscular skeletal aches and pains and it can even be helpful in the bedroom. Something to think about guys!
